NEW DELHI Reliance Communications has roped in Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma as its brand ambassador
for an undisclosed amount. India’s third-largest telecom company by
subscriber said Anushka would promote the ‘Mera Network’ advertising
campaign for the telco’s GSM and CDMA services. The telco didn’t renew
its two-year contract with Hrithik Roshan, which expired in February
this year. RCOM also launched two television commercials featuring
Anushka and Rannvijay, from MTV Roadies.
